Part 9 of this book club - (Same God, Other God by Alon Goshen-Gottstein):

The first part of the book laid out whether or not Hinduism would be considered idolatry by Maimonides, Nachmanides, and Meiri. The last half of the book goes into these questions a second time but delves into very esoteric subject matter I struggle to understand. However, we did get the overview from the first half, and this is enough to work with. If you wish to dive deeper into what you have seen so far, get the book. Here is something we learned: Maimonides was most strict against idolatry and did not even accept Christianity as permissible; Nachmanides allowed certain forms of non-monotheism as long as there was only one creator god; and Meiri allowed pretty much everything as long as the idolatrous religion promoted general morality. I have predicted that the Jews will use Hinduism to Noahidize the world, but people don't believe me because they say Hinduism looks too idolatrous and wonder how that would work. Turning the three Rabbinical scholars into three phases, each Rabbi's opinion can be used to accept and adapt Hinduism over time, with the least strict interpretations rolled out first and the most strict later. This way, Hindu-Noahidism can creep into society slowly and undetected.

  1. Muslims should repeatedly invite rabbis to explain how the Torah is from God and the Koran not. When they predictably refuse, they should be mocked for cowardice and having lost the argument.
